I am a professional inspector who is certified by the State of Missouri to perform energy audits for all of the state and federal programs that provide citizens with tax and rebate incentives.  I am also nationally certified as a Building Analyst by BPI which allows me to work in neighboring states, as well.

When you hire me to do your energy audit, you are NOT hiring a salesman who will try to sell you windows, doors or insulation. 

I am NOT a remodeling contractor who is using energy audits to create extra business for himself.

In Missouri, the cost of your energy audit and the improvements that you make to your home from the recommendations are tax deductible, up to $2000.00.  For some items, there are actual rebates and tax credits that further defray the cost of making your home more energy efficient - but none of these incentives can beat the immediate increase in comfort and the immediate reduction in energy bills.
