Joseph is licensed as a REALTOR® and Principal Broker in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia, and specializes in luxury, historic and architecturally significant -- otherwise known as "Best Address" -- properties in Northwest Washington, Capitol Hill and the inner suburbs of the city.

In 2004, Joseph earned the "CRS" (Certified Residential Specialist) designation, a mark of distinction that less than 4 percent of all licensed REALTOR® in the world have achieved. Created by the National Association of Realtors'® Council of Residential Specialists, the CRS designation is considered to be the "CPA" of residential real estate, providing home buyers and sellers an easy way to identify agents who have significant experience and demonstrate higher volume of real estate transactions or gross sales, as well as complete rigorous, advanced educational requirements. The CRS Designation is the highest professional designation awarded to REALTORS® in the residential sales field.
In 2002, Joseph was awarded the Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation from the National Association of REALTORS® after completing a comprehensive education program in residential real estate that covers everything from contract law to professional standards and ethics, as well as finance and risk reduction.
In 2008, Joseph earned his "CRB" (Certified Residential Broker) designation. This shows his commitment to building the careers of the agents in his firm.
In addition to selling single-family homes, Joseph is well versed in the nuances of condominium and cooperative sales, having expert knowledge of the intricacies involved in purchasing condos & co-ops.
Joseph has been invited to speak at several industry conferences/trade shows, including being a panelist at the Rising Stars forum, the Young Agents panel and a "Secrets of the Superstars" panel.
A born and raised Washingtonian, Joseph attended school here -- Edmund Burke (High) School & Green Acres (Elementary and Junior High) School -- and has lived in Northwest DC since completing his college education at Boston University.
As a native Washingtonian, Joseph has in-depth knowledge of DC neighborhoods, particularly Cleveland Park, Kalorama, Dupont Circle, Adams Morgan, Georgetown, Woodley Park, Chevy Chase, and Capitol Hill.
